Monocouche Render Garden Wall [Caversham, Reading]

External wall repair where a damaged section of textured render has been patched using a sand and cement render mix. The patch has been carefully floated and textured to replicate the existing roughcast style finish as closely as possible.

Cork insulation plaster applied to an internal loft wall uses a natural, breathable system that can reach thermal conductivity values around 0.097 W/m·K—up to three times better insulation than standard gypsum—helping improve warmth, reduce cold spots, and limit condensation while still providing a solid base for the final plaster finish.

Coloured monocouche render applied to an external extension wall provides a durable, weatherproof finish typically lasting around 20–25 years and achieving EN 998-1 W2 water-resistance performance, while remaining low-maintenance because the colour is mixed through the cement and eliminates the need for repainting.
